Maxnote sync keeps failing for past week.

Restarted router multiple times, no joy.

Log in/out of maxthon account, no joy.

Then I thought cos I was on v2000 so I updated to this v2200, still no joy.

BTW, what does the blue triangle with the up arrow mean?

Hi Cookie_Monster, could you try to clear your log and relaunch the browser and see if syncing works? If syncing still fails, kindly send your log file over and I will forward it to the development team for them to check on it. The blue triangle appears when syncing fails.

Hello!
For a while now (multiple releases), I've noticed a massive performance drop in the afternoons on a work's PC (i5-7500T - 2.7GHz, 4 core, 6MB L3 & 4GB RAM).
Pages become unresponsive (repeated wait/cancel prompts) & everything is sooooo much slower.
If I exit Maxthon, wait for it to clear from Task Manager & then reload & open the same websites (i.e. same number of tabs containing the same web pages), it's MUCH more responsive & is using ~800MB less RAM!
I have nothing else running during the day, except occasionally Notepad or File Explorer.
This implies either a memory leak somewhere or caching issue as far more memory is allocated than should be (confirmed upon reloading)

I too notice increased ram usage and slowing down of the whole browser work. THe more I use it without restarting it, the more it slows down. After restart of browser everything is back to normal. But after prolonged use, it starts slowing down and eating system resources. It started few versions back, but can't recall when exactly.

Hi MichaelC362 @SirNasso, I have feedback to the development team about this RAM issue for them to check on it.

Очевидно, что такая задача стоит - использовать ресурс пользователя ПК.  VPN (от BrightVPN) является подтверждением.

Рекомендую выключить VPN (от BrightVPN) !!!

I noticed increased RAM usage and it causing issue with loading pages after some time of running Maxthon. Any update on that issue?

Hi jinoman, the development team is looking into this issue. Have you tried on previous beta versions and noticed when did this RAM issue starts? @SirNasso @MichaelC362, would appreciate if you could let me know when did you noticed this RAM usage issue starts. Would be good if you could recall which version so the developers can trace back quickly and resolve the problem faster.

Yeah, I found it later myself, but why two places with basically the same info? Until V7.1.6.2000 all versions were posted in this thread
