Just to conform, download manager still creating duplicate entries, which are just caching errors & are not removed from list when clearing, but are not present after restarting Mx6, confirming cache issue. Also, still getting missing icons from downloaded programs & some still showing user icon instead. Been doing this for months now & check/report for every release, but still not fixed. Also, quick launch with text has missing favicon on many entries... if changing to screenshot & back again or changing background colour, the favicon is still missing. This morning, on a supplier's website (https://www.targetcomponents.co.uk/), that I've been to multiple times per week for over 15 years without issue, without errors or any messages, Maxthon just exited/closed! Reloaded & all open tabs gone & no messages & after going back to same website, been ok since. Crashed out 3 times already today, this time twice on BBC's website (https://www.bbc.co.uk/) & once here on the Maxthon forum, as I was starting to make this post! Despite having "Continue where you left off" in Startup settings, each time, upon reloading, https://i.maxask.com/ was shown & none of the other open tabs brought back up. FJ Posted February 3, 2022 Report Share Posted February 3, 2022 Having tested version 6.1.3.1400 (portable x64), I notice that Maxthon disappears completely within a few seconds of booting many times. I open Task Manager and I find 32 Maxthon processes that I have to close one by one. This happens to me on multiple computers, both Windows 7 x64 and Windows 10 x64. This problem has been occurring for several versions, but version 1400 is the most insecure in this regard. In order to connect today, I had to remove version 1400 and reinstall version 1300. To test, try creating a new record in Passkeeper (a new login/password for a new site), then click Sync to try syncing it to Maxthon's servers. See ya, Ldfa.
