What version of Chromium is Maxthon currently using? 109? How is it possible to see it?

What version of Chromium is Maxthon currently using? 123? And can you update the Chromium engine to version 124/125? 😉 how did the competition do it in March, Opera etc?(124 in stable and 125 in Opera beta ) 😉 Chromium 124/125 works faster and more stable and a few other improvements

Actually, I already did and it doesn't change things. By the way, to make clear that why I doubt Maxthon, I changed default browser to Chrome and did same test, it works just fine. Could it be some registry keys pertaining to Maxthon get wrong?

Hi MichaelC362, we have tested out but could not reproduce the same error. Could you to relaunch the browser then click on restore again to see if same problem occurs?

If Maxthon is running already. when click a link, the --single-argument call to Maxthon fail to open link in Maxthon. But If I don't run Maxthon, by clicking same link, it will run Maxthon and open that link. Why? I'm using Maxthon 7.1.8.9600 under win11.

Same here. You have to reinstall DDG and it's impossible to delete the version that doesn't work.

Hello! Had issue with DuckDuckGo not searching, so checked search engine settings in Maxthon... Most engines were missing, so restored defaults & then had 2x DuckDuckGo... Removed one of them, but then couldn't select DuckDuckGo as now missing from options!

Did a fresh install of 7.1.8.9800 beta and successfully synced my data after signing in. During the time that I have been using it, everything is working as it should be, which is great. Of course, some compatibility problems continue to be present because of Chrome 109, but the developers already know about that, so I am not going to list the issues. Thank you for the update, and I will be back to report any problems if they occur.

I experienced a strange problem: test 1.When Maxthon is not running, I click a link in LINE chat room, it will open Maxthon with this link page correctly. But If I click any other link in LINE chat room further, it has no response, i.e. it won't open 2nd link page in Maxthon. test 2.If I run Maxthon first, then I click any link in LINE chat room, it has no response, i.e. No link page will open in Maxthon. test 3. I check default program in setting, it's Maxthon alright. According to the test, I click any link while Maxthon is running, it won't open the link page in Maxthon. test 4. Then I change default program to Chrome, retest above steps again, all works fine. It seems the problem is coming from Maxthon. The symtom is when setting default browser to Maxthon, while Maxthon is already running, when I clink any link, it trigger a calling to ask Maxthon to open link but Maxthon can't recognize or failt to open link. However, when setting default browser to Chrome, everything works fine. I'm using version 7.1.8.9600 in Win11. What could be wrong?

I had to do a factory reset on my phone a few days ago. Whilst my Favorites have all synced Passkeeper has not and shows no inclination to do so. I have logged in at uu.me but it will not sync from there. Auto Sync is on as is only WiFi Sync. What is the official syncing method?

An easy method is to search the History to find when you last visited the link URL. Ctrl+H
