  1. Even though the two previous versions worked on my PC, I found that 7.3.1.1102 opened to a blank window of white the first time I ran it and tried to sign in. In my case, closing that window and starting Maxthon a second time fixed the problem, and signing in then worked.
  2. I downloaded maxthon_portable_7.3.1.1100_x64_alpha.zip and did a fresh install on Windows 10 and signed into my Maxthon account, and the sync seemed to work and extensions got loaded successfully. I was able to download and use an extension that previously couldn't be added (because of 109) and so overall, my first impressions are positive.
  3. Oh, wow! What we have been waiting for! Will download and try it tonight, thanks!
  4. Yes. Maxnote was once awesome! But now I am paying about $25 a year for a competitive cloud based note app, and for the reliability and amount of storage I get it is worth it. Maxnote was once a very good reason to use Maxthon, but now as you say it is only sad.
  5. I don't know about actual user numbers, but occasionally I lurk on the Chinese language forum and there are increasing numbers of vocal users over there who are also complaining about the old Chromium kernel version and extensions that no longer work. It is not just English (or other language) speakers here who are unhappy, if that is any consolation. Which translates as There have been frequent updates recently, and they are all official versions, but why don’t they update the kernel? Comments like these are frequent with each update.
