Does Maxthon PC 7.1.8.8201 beta (Windows 11) work with Nextflix for anybody here? When I try to play some Netflix content I get the Netflix error UI3012 or M7121-1331 (when I tried it in incognito mode) or it simply logs me out. If I open Edge and try it there, it loads and plays normally. Any ideas?

I am unable to play Netflix via Maxthon. I'm running 4.9.0.3000 This has been happening for a rather long time, Netflix home page will load but when I click play on any particular show/movie it will redirect me to a compatability page. If I run the browser in Retro it will play just audio and the screen is black. I've tried logging out of my maxthon account and tried running the browser as admin. Any know a fix?Kodi TutuApp AppValley

Apparently you will have this problem because you are using a beta version of Netflix, first update or install Netflix latest version and then check it out.

I changed the user agent and stuff, to improve my experience in maxthon and I can't pop up the window of netflix anymore, how can I do that!? It would be great to having that feature again I'm running v4.4.8.2000 and it worked great a few days back- Pls help

If I have been watching Netflix for a while, and have two or three other tabs open, closing the tab that contained Netflix.com will cause the entire browser to crash. Version 4.4.4.3000 Windows 7

Bueno.Me gusta mucho el camino al que esta llevando este navegador y probablemente no lo valla a cambiar nunca pero despues de mas de 1 año usandolo y probando distintos y siemprevolver al Maxthone por su comodidad y velociadad encontre un eror... La cosa es que estaba viendo una pelicula en netflix y cada tanto 3 o 4 minutos se me abria una nueva pestaña sin que yo toque nada.. Yo segui viendo la pelicula tranquilo y de la nada se me cerraba el maxthone.. Eso me paso 3 veces en ese momento yo queria terminar de ver la pelicula tranquilo asi que me tube que meter en google chrome y termine de ver la peli pero ahora quiero saber que es esto.. La pagina que se me abria era esta (https://service.gmx.com/registration.html?edition=us〈=en&device=desktop#.1559516-header-signup2-1) Nose de donde salio ni porque pero se me abria eso y despues de 1 minuto si yo no rellanaba lo que decia ahi se me cerraba.. Porfavor arreglenlo Por cierto..Que lindo ver videos de youtube a 60 fps!

Hey Golfmann, so I devide all problems in this topic into three: 1. Youtube: The browser does not support video playback. 2. Youtube: Quality is missing. (especially for HD1080p) 3. Netflix, hulu... As Anna mentioned above, we have applied Netflix and hulu account and have been doing test to solve all related problems. So please be patient to the third problem. Have the first two problems been solved now? because I didn't encounter the first one, and the second problem only appear to certain vedios, I have to ask the feedback from your side.

Hi EddyFicio, have you solved your problem now? Regarding to Netflix, as far as I know, Maxthon browser really has many problems currently and now we have registered an account on Netflix and will test and solve related problems soon. If you have any update, you can also suggest us by opening another topic.

Did you change to Retro to get Netflix working? If so, i don't think the popup video works in Retro. If you had it working in Ultra using Flash, then that is just as much of a mystery as i didn't think Netflix was using flash? And what useragent are you and were you using when things were working properly?

Hello, Golfmann. I transferred those information to test team...but they need a Netflix account. They can't create one because no foreign credit card... If you're willing, could you PM me your Netflix account. If it's inconvenient, it's ok. I understand.

Yes, ultra mode in twitter (should see more in link named in picture) no movies will play in Netflix, period. Retro or ultra modes. Windows 10 12 gig ram Maxthon v4.9.3.500 If tried in ultra mode you get this: twitter seems to be working now... can't re enact it. Netflix problem REMAINS... thanks

Does it can't play in Ultra Mode? If so, this's a confirmed bug of twitter's video, we will fix it ASAP. But Netflix problem hadn't confirmed. Could you give me a screenshot of Netflix problem please? and your computer system version and Maxthon browser version. Thanks a lot and looking forward to your feedback.

Hi Rob, our technician has pushed a new UA to this site, so users should visit it's older format in version 5.0.3.4000 now. And the core reason that Maxthon doesn't support well for Spotify (Netflix, Amazon video, etc.) is that Maxthon is lack DRM plug-in, which is 6m big. Our PM decides to begin to program the plug-in for Maxthon, but will not add it to the install pack, since it will increase the size. They plan to make it cloud download when first time running Maxthon. BTW, in my test, it shows the purple pop-up every time I refresh the page, and cannot play any music. Is that the same with you?

can we fix this (on twitter): ALSO Netflix not working... There's no excuse for a modern browser in this world not to have this working. Unless you're trying to turn people away.

I only fixed youtube's embedded in a forum I run by making them convert to HTML5 not flash. Youtube site itself works fine for me. AS for the 1080, I saw Youtube has changed the DASH playback (default). IF DASH is active 1080 is not possible. Could that possibly be some people's problem? Netflix I have given up on and use Egde which has a much better resolution. I suggest switching retro to edge engine IF you can get it That's about all I know on the subject.

Google has been messing with Youtube video's lately, transitioning away from any flash and going to html5. They might have been doing something in the code when you had this problem. Work ok on mine now, anyway. Netflix and twitter and some others, well... that's another story

if I use a site that requiers silverlight to run a video, for example, netflix, I can't watch in ultra mode, I have this problem on MX4 as well. I'm running on W10.

I haven't been able watch netflix or amazon as well. I was hoping with MX5, I would be able to but still I can't. This is a problem with Windows 8, 8.1 as well...

I can also confirm Netflix doesn't work here. You get an error page in Ultra. Retro (with standard rendering) only plays audio, just a black screen otherwise. Trying different UA's doesn't help at all. Windows 10 10586.318 / MX4.9.3.1000

This seems to be related to my post about HTML5 and maxthon 4.9 as for testing plex server is free and can be tested with any .avi file. If it works on that it will probably work on Netflix etc. Just thought I would try amazon prime and that has the same problem of not playing; also uses a HTML5 player.
