Maxthon Forever "Up to Date"

This is the second time now, and I'm afraid it's indicative of a bug: Maxthon still states that my browser is "up to date" at Version 4.4.2.2000 but apparently there's now a Version 4.4.3.3000???

I am also suprise of all the updates I think the updates will never end but mabye I'm wrong,who know ...

with age / update maxthon becomes better & better !!!!!!!:lol

never did i see it getting updated by itself

time immemorial:time:

itz been like this 4 ages :(

except once, twice or thrice it did attempt to update on its own but never reached 100%(full complete download):L

The issue isn't about installing a new version. It's that the updater checker doesn't always find the most recent version. It can at times be a number a versions behind.

Hello guys,

Really sorry for this inconvenience.

I have checked myself and i can confirm that the check for update function is not working as expected.

Actually, we only push final versions to users, Betta versions are not pushed.

However i can still confirm that there is a problem that needs to be addressed.

I have already notified our product team about this issue in order to find a quick solution.

Thanks you guys for your patience and support of Maxthon.

And what happened to all the other complaints about this same thing that has been going on for years? Just as those have been ignored, so will this one. Nothing will change.

There is a problem with our server and i have asked the person in charge to look into it.
