MichaelC362 Posted January 4 Report Share Posted January 4 Hello! Maxthon v7.1.7.8400 didn't offer update & said it was up-to-date, on both Windows 10 & 11 computers. Installed v7.1.7.8600 on a Windows 11 computer & got the prompts for creating MaxNote shortcuts, so I could say no. Installed on a Windows 10 computer & didn't get the prompts. so both taskbar & desktop shortcuts needed to be manually deleted. When the changes box displayed, initially, it was in Chinese & then changed to English. This is a "feature" of Maxthon, when it says you are up to date and have the beta checkbox enabled it does not mean you are up to date - it means you will get some beta updates per developer will, and not the latest. I keep complaining about that but for now without any luck. For now, we need to keep checking the forum and update manually if we want to be up to date with betas.
