    There are some sites that can hide their resources from resource sniffer, Example: Youtube , Else if they can be detected, They can't actually be downloaded because of their files being split in different sizes like videos in youtube from other websites. Already found quite many sites that has this kind of stuff... Off topic: Just noticed the ads on youtube player before you can play a video, Gotta find the adblock list again :L

    Actually, AdBLock Plus can't block ads manually but the moderators provide us rules for blocking almost any ads except for very few sites I can't remember already. I also checked kissanime.com because of the one mentioned above, Played one anime but the ads are actually blocked, only their hide buttons are visible. As for the heating of your hardware, It's because of the ram being used, More ram used, More processes work, That's where your laptop gives off hot air

There are some sites I don't want to block ads, but I want to block certain scripts. MajorGeeks.com being one of several examples.

    maxthon's adbock plus is terrible it misses the ads on kiss anime unlike adhunter which removes them my laptop also heats up more now and makes page load slow the reason I chose maxthon was because resource usage was very low I am disapponted in this new version I think even the non maxthon adblock plus works better

    V.4.4.4.2000. eBay is telling me there's a problem with my browser and cookies, but there isn't, as you can see form the attached picture. I've tried it with both Adblock on AND off and I've cleared all my cache, temporary files and whatnot.

    Wilser replied at 2015-2-5 17:14 Since AdHunter was replaced by AdBlock everything goes slow :S It also slows down Maxthon 4.4.4.2000. I have disabled AdBlock Plus and now I use AdFender. AdFender works very nice and it does'nt slowdown Maxthon. AdFender is no browser plugin but a little program that lives in the system tray. So if u use more than one browser it works on all.

    перестали отображаться сообщения в вконтакте в реальном времени, новые сообщения становится видно только после обновления страницы, подскажите что делать?? Оказывается это Adblock Plus блокирует это. Как его настроить чтобы он рекламу блокировал, а сам сайт обновлялся сам в реальном времени?

    Hi The problem could be due to the deletion of adblockplus.mxaddon. Do you find Adblock Plus extension in extensions manager? If not, then try to reinstall the browser. If, the problem persists , then it might be a BUG or you running a third party software that might be preventing adblockplus.mxaddon to install. 11783

    Why is ad block making browsing ugly???? older v4.4.3.4 mostly clean with few hides 11777 new v4.4.4.2 is full of hide and put ad here, makes me think adhunter worked better can you remove them in the next update? 11778

    I rec'd an email touting Adblock Plus. It looks good enough to be from Maxthon except for the dl. in the URL. When I search for Adblock Plus nothing comes up. Anyone have experience about this? i.e. If legit, does it work?

    Hi, I had that error message for two days, most of the time opening Gmail ended with crash and sending crash report. Before that I had to click OK like 6 times in this urlDomain.empty() pop-up window. Reinstall was not fixing the error so I've downloaded beta and tried with turning off the AdBlock and Proxy as someone said. That worked, I've turned it back on and it's still working so... I still have no idea what actually fixed that bug. BTW it happend to me for the second time.

ABP was integrated into Maxthon since 4.4.4.600 public beta version till the recent public beta version. I recommended the latest public beta 4.4.4.1200 coz the pop up ads issue on webkit core was optimized in this version. Don't ask for silent beta, it's for tester only.     Hi, today I renstalled maxthon at work and adblock doesnt work. At home its fine, however here I have ads all over my sites. I unistalled with all the data, made a clean install and still the same issue. Please look at the screen. In adblock options I dont have all the things that should be there, whats the problem?

Your User Agent still shows that you're using Maxthon 4.4.3.4000. Did you perform clean installation?! And change your UA to default. Do you have any extension installed? If yes try to disable them and check this video again. Anyway what's the problem with this high ram usage? Have you encountered some Maxthon crash? IMHO - unused RAM is wasted RAM.

    Sounds good, Where would i get Adblock plus, Since from what i've heard Maxthon does not support it. Ohhhh, it comes with it. Hopefully its as good as it's chrome partner. the only reason i was even slightly shy about maxthon was because of the lack of AB+, I've been using adfender as a replacement and getting by. This is a godsend... Thanks! On a side note this also fixed my youtube lag issue (Would take 10-15 seconds to load) The problem still persists (But only after watching about 20-35 mins of the episode does it appear.) However it could just be this website. I'll simply use another.
