I have removed EasyList and added Wilser's Super Quick List subscription located here http://forum.maxthon.com/index.php?/topic/15747-adblock-plus-super-quick-list-subscription/&do=findComment&comment=85505 With this adblock list the page workw normally autoomatically adding more as I scroll. I don't know what rule causes the problem., But with SQList I don't worry about it

    Hola, 7twenty, soy un usuario reciente de Maxthon, y lo que me me pregunto es por qué no aparece la función dividir pantalla??En la parte de abajo solo aparece el adblock plus y  la función pantalla completa. Buscando encontré un atajo con el mouse, pero no se puede.... es algún bug de maxthon??Mil Gracias de antemano.

    Как-то странно стало отображаться на Windows XP окно настройки Adblock при нажатии на красный значок внизу окна браузера. На Windows 7 всё нормально: А вот так отображается на Windows XP:

    Да, вы правы! Вспоминая MX прошлых версий. вроде бы всё нормально было. Я вообще не понимаю для чего их пичкают всякой ерундой. Ведь достаточно бы сделать "хороший скелет", а уж всяких расширений пусть ставят, кому и что надо. Насчёт оперативки, надо посмотреть, я что то этим не заморачивался, хотя бывает и по 7 -8 вкладок открыты и ничего не тормозит. Что не сказал бы о версиях 4.8.., там тормоза были. А так 4.9 у меня пошустрее 4.8 работает. Выдернуть бы ещё adblock с корнем оттуда, т.к. использую для этих целей другую программу.

    I am using AdBlock Plus as a normal user on my Win7 laptop. I use the portable version usually from a desktop installation folder, but sometimes from a USB drive. Either way ABP works fine. However, I do NOT use the default adblocking list, EasyList. I disable that and the unobtrusive ads whitelist and install Wilser's Super Quick List from here: http://forum.maxthon.com/index.php/topic/15747-adblock-plus-super-quick-list-to-block-ads-05092015/?p=85505 Install it under Global Rules. It has worked very well for me.

    my win10 account is just a regular one, it could have someting to do with the system privileges maxthon has on win10 or win7 are different. the win10 is a full clean install on a brand new SSD. i still used the adblock/data from win8.1 without problems (235892 adds blocked in total, and still increasing) the win7 is also a clean instal dated on: 8-9-2014 so a virus/malware could not be a problem

    Right now AdBlock still does not block background image http://www.ixbt.com/branding/ulmart/ulmart_general_ixbt_news_mar2015.jpg on site http://www.ixbt.com/news/ht/. This background is specified in CSS. Rule for AdBlock already exists in current "RuAdList+EasyList" list. Even If I add custom rule for this image - it does not blocked. If I open this image in separate tab - it blocked.

    Again, it seems there is something going on with your settings. I tested by unchecking the "block ads on this website" and the page is full of ads. I then tried by unchecking the "enable Adblock Plus" in the options screen, and it showed the same. Enabling ABP then blocked everything (that i could see). Now in fairness, i'm only testing by checking with one video and only the first few minutes. Whether something happens after watching more at this stage I can't say. But based on your posts it seems this is happening on opening the page, so that shouldn't be an issue. What filters do you have enabled in ABP? Also try signing in to you account, but disable sync for ABP. Then check with turning on/off and enabling/disabling only one block list.

    Another workaround is to use a portable version of old version with Adhunter, under your passport account delete all rules and manual sync. After, test with a fresh portable of Adblock version.

    Normaly, since a few days, after a clean install there is no longer sync of rules (even for the new rules Adblock)! Have you recently performed a clean install? I said that in old forum but it's not related with version 4.4.5.1000, it's the same with previous Adblock versions. With a clean install of last 4.4.5.1200, the global rules have only this three entries

You may try to search "Last opened" from browsing history. 2.For the page loading issue, any link to test? You may disable adblock and try again. 3.Is the problem confined with some specific links? 4.Freezing problem could be due to adblock, you may disable it and try again. You can try also update your Maxthon to this latest version http://forum.maxthon.com/thread-15375-1-1.html. I suggest you to perform clean installation. Anyway do you have subscribed any adblock filters in Adblock options?

And if the problem persists, please give us a specific website where adblock doesn't work. And if there is a crash, please send us the crash report.
