pc issue 5.1.4.xxxx bug

Hi support,

please fix your bug before release any version. we are not test monkey. Maxthon is a browser at before. Currently is a bug maker.

 all of 5.1.4.xxxx~3000

Bug (Random happenning)

1. tab bug, when I click QA icon.
     a. Maxthon not open anything
     b. or open other page(response slowly)
     c. or open my chose on other tab, not current tab.

2. URL bar cannot work without "http://" or "https://" or "www."
     a. no anything happening
     b. open on other page, not current tab
     c. open a white page, and it will be not workable. it's need restat broswer.

3. Alias cannot work well   => Random
     a. when the history have same or close keyword. it's many time go to google search
     b. open a white page

4. QA is not workable.   => Random
     a. launch Maxthon, and no QA page. only white page
     b. launch Maxthon, and it's cannot click anything.

5. the setting is open new URL on right page with background
     a. it's random open it on random tab location. maybe on left side, maybe on right side.
     b. open a white page

6. Why open advertisement page at China taobao 12/12.

7. always show DNS not response.
     a. at same time, Google chrome, vivaldi, IE => workwell
     b. I have concern about Maxthon is record end user personal data @@??  follow your China networking policy @@?

8. QA used more GPU usage... why?

9. 5.1.4 use more and more memory.
     a. normally used 300MB~600MB when I launch Maxthon and page stay on QA only.

 

 

 

Issue or function problem:

1. kernel version is too older. (detect the version is 55)

2. different PC use same cache path. It's should not sync to any computer.

3. select the link on my favorite, and it's always request me to keyin user name and password

Any one can response these bug and issues?

Test with portable and see if the same happens.

Then login to passport/copy userdata if using guest account and see if it also happens.

To me they're not bugs unless a clean version is showing the same problems. Otherwise it's a userdata issue

Hi 

I didn't upgrade from old one, and if upgrade have issues, it's same my understanding, it's a bug.

for these problem, I already remove all exist in my PC files. it's clear and clean.a pure windows install 5.1.4 and sync all the userdata from MX server.

the bug and issue is always random happening.

if you just test one time or 2 times, maybe you can found it maybe not?

and I don't know why some time I saw the packet sent to China IP in wireshank (i didn't open any china web or something china IP web site) 

the root issue is I saw more and more times, that DNS is not response. So, I check the packet.

 

any happen on end user problem, I think you should verify and measure it's a bug....

Tested on 5.1.4.3000

Open a new tab and input maxthon.com, I can enter the official website

Here I can't re-produce.. If this issue happened frequently, you could provide us a video

Because this problem does not happen to everyone, so we guess can't confirm as a bug, it would be helpful if you can provide us more detail

There is no setting to open pages in background, only to open them in foreground.

The video appears to be due to the browser is too lag.. And you have lots of extenstions installed. Please try to disable these extension and to see if the speed improved
