Maxthon 4 treats "xml file" and "xml url" differently?

Last time I sent a question about Maxthon 4's problem with xml (Some link that outputs xml don't have indentation and syntax-highlight). After some time, I test that further and find something interesting.

Using this link provided by active and kind user '7twenty' in this forum:

I save the html source as a xml file, named test.xml and put it into my local Apache www server's document root (i.e. c:\htdocs) . Test with Maxthon and IE and find results as follows:

1. url: file:///C:/htdocs/test.xml

IE: syntax- highlight and indentation both works.

Maxthon 4: highlight and indentation BOTH works, too.

2. url: localhost/test.xml

IE: syntax- highlight and indentation both works.

Maxthon 4: highlight and indentation NEITHER works.

It seems that Maxthon 4 has bug when interpreting XML MIME stream from web server.

It's confirmed as a BUG. forgot to mention that in the first thread.
