Clearly there isn't: Did you at least try doing a scan with the programs from the links provided? How is possible a external security software is doing Windows updates..? Unless we are taking about the POSReady hack. Both we are on XP and I continus to update softwares, but for now Windows updates are turned off... Now about "Flash player fail" Maxthon is working very well on YouTube (like never before). I keep Maxthon original Maxthon Npplugins, not any video extention, everything clean. Result: amazing browser, no more video isssues or lacking. I can't not disable the pepperflash Pepperflash has nothing to do with Maxthon. It is the built-in auto updated version that ONLY Chrome can use. The only Flash that Maxthon uses is NPSWF32*.DLL, depending on whether it is in the Maxthon folder or windows folder The last pic shows adobe disabled I said before it makes no difference. I get the same and it works fine. This would be due to the way that it detects your browser - as Chrome, and it uses a different version as stated above. So with what everyone has asked me to do I did nothing seem to work then The only other thing I did not do is totally uninstall both shockwave player or the flash player So you clearly didn't do everything that people said. 7twenty
Try the adobe flash uninstaller from post #32, and the links in #26. As for why the older version works while the new one doesn't, it could be anything. Off the top of my head, something has registered 4.4.0 to the flash files, but that link is dead when you update to 4.4.1. While a reinstall of Flash should work, it hasn't. So a complete uninstall (using the link above, following every step exactly) will hopefully fix your issues.

Then you try something else till you get to the point where the problem is fixed. The whole point of troubleshooting is methodically running through a list of possible fixes so you can without a doubt say that was/wasn't the problem. Any time you dismiss something you can't say that isn't the issue, as you didn't try it. On the other hand, if you're happy with the version that you are on, then just don't worry about it. AFAIK there isn't anything amazing in the later one that you need to update. That said, here's a quick rundown of what I do when trying to fix a problem. Check settings for related options (eg. enable plugins for this issue, which you've checked) Disable AdHunter. Refresh and check (in case it's blocking something it shouldn't, which you've checked) Disable ALL extensions. Restart the browser and check (in case one is causing an issue with a page, or blocking something) If you're using a Passport account, log out and check (in case your profile has some corrupt settings due to incorrect download or save) Extract the Maxthon portable version to a folder, don't sign in and check (same as above, but is standalone, so doesn't affect anything in your main install) From there you should be able to deduce what the problem is if Maxthon related. If none of that works, then you move elsewhere outside of maxthon. In this case to Flash. BUT once again, given your replies stating: "google won't work, firefox keeps going not responsing, internet explore won't open game n too", and; "I haven't been able to play any games on FB with any browser I try to use" That says almost without doubt that it's a local system issue. And that is the reason why i've asked twice for you to do a adware/malware check, which you seem to not want to do. I don't know if you realise but trying to fix issues like this can be difficult at the best of times (even sitting directly in front of the system), but having to relay messages, then have them dismissed without checking just makes things harder, as many times you use one check to determine later steps. If there was a one step fix it would have been given, unfortunately there isn't.
1402170908
Hi Odyssee I think I found the big problem and I would not have known if I didn't download malwarebytes after I download that I rebooted my computer but it never really started back up it said trying to fix settings but even than it wouldn't start up windows ...it went to a blue screen asking me 3 things skip, tools, and something else....I picked tools advance when I did this it asked my 2 other questions...so I took the one to reinstall windows, which took some time like almost 3 hours for it to fix the hard drive and reinstall...with the windows redone I only download java,I didn't install any of the flash players.....I reinstall maxthon cloud to the latest version and I got in.....So the only thing I can think of is I was missing files somewhere in windows settings.......Thanks everyone for trying to help me figure out thee problem

Can you remember the latest software you installed before it went wrong again ? I agree with all 7twenty it looks like a software conflict (including windows update and drivers) or a malware but it might also be a hardware (network card, HDD, fan, routeur) issue... you have to eliminate one thing at a time, until you find the issue... 7twenty
We're slowly getting there. Still waiting on the HiJackThis log (see end of post #46). BUT a quick google shows that everything you have installed apart from Java/Firefox/Maxthon is some sort of adware/malware/rubbish. So the first thing you need to do is uninstall those items. Then run Malwarebytes again. I'd run CCleaner as well http://download.piriform.com/ccsetup414.exe to hopefully remove any other extraneous rubbish as well. When that is done come back with another HiJackThis log and lets see what you have left.

7twenty
I'm not sure if you want some help or not? You can do system restore all day long, if the issue was present before that restore point you still won't resolve the problem. You've been asked a number of times to provide certain information to help determine the issue, yet nothing has been supplied.
