In the Settings, the Feature pane is empty. This is a fresh install of 7.3.1.1700 beta starting with an empty profile, but logged into my account.

The new version gives an error when entering.

I use Maxthon on two PC computers and I noticed that on the second PC I don't have the same "New tab" background image as on the main PC, and I can't find the correct picture. On my main PC, I have "Wallpaper -> Background -> Local image" selected but when I click on the small image thumbnail, the file selector opens but I can't see which image is being used. Does anyone know how I can find the actual image so I can copy it to the second PC and use it there as well?

When opening the browser home page, the tab https://youtube.com auto changes to https://go.mxfast.com/youtube and does not work at all. The search engine constantly changes to MaxAsk. MaxNotes still does not work. Notes are synchronized in parts and in a distorted form on different computers.

I accidentally installed a website as an app, and it is now opening as such. How do I uninstall/terminate/remove this app?

Helle, I noticed that when I pin tabs (2,3 or more) in Maxthon PC 7.3.1.1200 beta in account session and after closing the browser all the pin tabs are not restored next time that I open again the browser. They are just closed. This happens only in the account session, not in the guest session. Am I missing something in the new version? Thank you in advance for your reply. Jus

In at least Maxthon Version 7.2.2.6000 (64-bit) 1026, there's a recurring issue on the ChatGPT website when the "Search the web" function is used. After the response is generated and the right panel appears, it shows the error: “Oops, an error occurred! Try again.” It happens consistently and may need investigation. Earlier, it worked fine, so I’m not sure if this is a new issue with the website or something specific to this Maxthon version. It works fine on smartphones and Firefox.

MX7.2.2.5000 can't super drag on Youtube each video snapshot??

This is an updated thread replacing the previous ones that have been archived. MX 7 and 6 only function on Windows 7 or later. Chrome 110 and later only function on Windows 10 and 11. Earlier versions of Windows will remain on Chrome 109. Chrome 110 and up function in the UA for all versions of Windows. MX 7.3 series only function on Windows 10 and above at present. From MX 7.1.8.7000 (March 2024) it is possible to change the User Agent in MX 7 using the traditional internal UA modifier/selector in Settings/Advanced/ Experiments. You can also use extensions from the chrome store. I personally use https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/user-agent-switcher-and m/bhchdcejhohfmigjafbampogmaanbfkg (recommended). I've noticed that sometimes the browser takes a while to load Google Maps - it can practically hangs for about 10-15 seconds (all tabs) and the CPU usage goes up through the roof. Once Google Maps is "fully loaded", it goes back to normal and generally not cause an issue if I close the tab and open another Google Maps soon after. However, after a while of it not being open, it can do it again. This issue only rises sometimes, while not in other times. I don't have any specific knowledge when and how. Currently running Version 7.2.2.6000 (64-bit) 1025, but this happened in some of the previous versions as well.

A few weeks ago I started receiving the message that access was denied to the Godaddy.com website. I performed a complete cleanup and the error still persists. I checked my hosts file and found no problems. I checked the DNS and tested with another DNS without success. I tested using Proton VPN and also without success using Maxthon. I have two independent networks that were also unsuccessful. The same thing happens using the LTE/4G network.
