I was logged in when I opened the extension site, so I logged out and was unable to log back in

You'll have to do a clean install which means you'll have to remove all of personal account info for it to install properly.

V4.9 is a new browser, twice removed from 3.5, skins for v4.9 are not compatible with v3.5. You can find 4.9 here in the forum.

So what you're saying is they need to be modified?

Old skins won't don't work on Mx4.9, but progress is being made with each release. I imagine people will eventually be making new skins with tabs on the bottom.

I don't think they can be considered GIFs, they are actual video. My favorite used to be BSR screen recorder(it used to be completely free I think), it could save the files in avi, swf or wmv. You can find thousands of free screen recorders(well at least free to try) here: http://download.cnet.com/s/screen-recorder/ Others can run up to $300 like Camtasia.

M4 has its own skin maker available from the main menu. Once you've created one you can save it and access it any time using the same method. M4 will also save your last 4 skins for easy access.

Clicking the "Pin It" favorite while on a site will open an overlay so you can add it to a new tab where you can place the image to a board. Unfortunately it works from the upper fav bar or fav button next to the address bar and NOT from the side bar.
