frapper
Probably asked and answered, but with Chromium dropping Win7 support I have to ask. Will there be continued full updates, including security? As you know, Brave, Vivaldi, Opera, etc are all dropping Win7 support. Thanks for your help. (Mods please move to different forum if need be).

Magdalene
With only 5% of Windows users using Win 7 and with Microsoft already stopped selling Win 10 an January this year is it worth hampering the development of MX7 for compatibility with an obsolete OS. We will be stuck on Chrome 109 for the foreseable future

I think more users are sticking with Win7 than some numbers indicate. Especially when the satisfaction trend from Win10 to Win11 is downward. Maxthon looks great! Thanks again. Magdalene
Quote Especially when the satisfaction trend from Win10 to Win11 is downward. I agree with that. But you can't buy Win 10 anymore so all new Win OS computers sold will be Win 11 whether we we like it or not. The changes from Win 10 are mostly in the GUI (Mostly stupid changes) and all the new security changes are hacked/hackable or compromised already. hometownweather
I am one of the die hard windows 7 users on at least 2 of my computers. I am glad to hear that Win 7 will still be supported. I fix computers for a living and there are way more users for Windows 7 then you can imagine.
