MX6 v. 6.1.1.600 (32 bits)
1) Dropdown menu doesn't show all search engines so that they can be selected as default
2) Search engines are not working in address bar; when using key word, it just searches it in Google.
3) Window design shows words overlapping

Hi there, could you set default through the list?

According to your screenshot, it seems that you didn't use the correct search URLs.

There's no option to set default through the list. Only "modify" or "delete"

All search URLs work perfectly well in MX5 v.5.3.8.2100. I've copied all of them from MX5 to MX6 using "copy & paste" for each URL, so that there were no typo errors. The Google ones are really long and don't show completely on the screeshot, but the shortest one of the "Real Academia Española" is complete on the screenshot and doesn't work either in MX6.

Thank you very much for you reply, BugSir006!!!

It means that the URLs are incorrect.

Maxthon 5 and Maxthon 6 are different browsers, so the URLs of search engines are different.

You can use the following URLs to set the seaach engines.

Google Argentinahttps://www.google.com.ar/search?source=hp&ei=VVz-X5CrFYDP0PEP8rSC6AY&q=%s&oq=test&gs_lcp=CgZwc3ktYWIQA1AAWABgmgJoAHAAeACAAQCIAQCSAQCYAQCqAQdnd3Mtd2l6&sclient=psy-ab&ved=0ahUKEwjQqZXj75fuAhWAJzQIHXKaAG0Q4dUDCAk&uact=5

Google USAhttps://www.google.com/search?source=hp&ei=z13-X-TfGIPJ0PEPtJSKkAQ&q=%s&oq=test&gs_lcp=CgZwc3ktYWIQAzIICAAQsQMQgwEyDgguELEDEIMBEMcBEKMCMgUIABCxAzIFCC4QsQMyCAguELEDEIMBMgUILhCxAzIICAAQsQMQgwEyBQgAELEDMgUIABCxAzIFCC4QsQM6CwguELEDEIMBEJMCOgsILhCxAxDHARCjAjoICC4QxwEQowJQkKwFWMO3BWDduQVoAHAAeACAAcoDiAHWB5IBBzItMi4wLjGYAQCgAQGqAQdnd3Mtd2l6&sclient=psy-ab&ved=0ahUKEwikg7iX8ZfuAhWDJDQIHTSKAkIQ4dUDCAk&uact=5

MercadoLibre: https://www.mercadolibre.com.ar/jm/search?as_word=s%

Amazonhttps://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=%s

There is a bug of the search engine Real Academia Espanola. It will be fixed as soon as possible.

I like to see I am not the only Maxthon user who has the Real Academia Española in the search engine list :)
