Wezpod
I recently downloaded and installed Maxthon (MX5), on the belief that it has an inbuilt adblocker....but it doesn't. Atleast not for me, and not on numerous websites. I have version 5.2.3.2000. I have tried you tube, ebay and a few other sites, all don't have any adds bar like one blocked? Do i need to activate something or am i missing something? Cheers if anyone can help.

7twenty
it's not turned on by default because of some legal thing... Go to the toolbar (the four boxes icon) or menu > settings > functions & addons to enable it.
pantantrollo
From the versiones 5.2.xxx (I do not remember exactly) it stopped adding this extension (at least in the portable version, but I think in the installable too). Download it as any extension http://extension.maxthon.com/detail/index.php?view_id=3130&category_id=
THRASHER69
yeah Its not in the installer version either, but the good thing is if you install the adblocker manually from the Maxthon extensions center so each time you update to the next newer version it will remember the adblock add-on automatically so you only have to do it once, or at least for me it has
