Change versions from US to UK and weather not working

Hello please can anyone let me know how to change my maxthon homepage from US to UK version?

Reason being the ebay tab in US version in USD

Also the 5 day weather function does not load to finality,says loading all the time..... this is on Maxthon 3 and Maxthon 5

Maybe it is my old 32 bit HP laptop but all else functions just fine.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling from google, to no avail.

Is their  a way to get these  working please

By homepage do you mean http://i.maxthon.com/ ? It seems like it was just made that way. Forcing the UK version (http://i.maxthon.com/en-uk.htm) removes most of the bars on the side. So I guess there's no way for end users to make the eBay bar take info from UK version.

As for the weather, maybe there's some extension or firewall rules that prevent the forecast from loading? Because it works fine on my end (5.1.0.1400)

i guess that if you want ebay uk, the way is to make a shortcut to ebay uk, display depends on your location

for weather make your own shortcut to weather.com ( works on MX 5.1.0.1700 ) if doesn't work as artee said some rules side effects or a server latency

I can't see any sort of ebay tab on i.maxthon.com (us or uk)

Only thing is the small ebay button that is a link to the site. That can be changed to whatever country you want.

No issues here. Something might be blocking it from accessing the data. Test by turning off ABP (although the site is supposed to be exempt from being blocked) and any other firewall software.
