daiku
I'm very happy to see the new version of Maxthon for Mac allows for the installation of the DuckDuckGo extension. Even if you prefer Google, it's nice to have DuckDuckGo handy for private, tracking-free searches. I think Maxthon, which has great privacy options, and DuckDuckGo make a great combination. To install, just go to DuckDuckGo.com, and click where it says "add to browser" at the bottom left. Thanks Maxthon!
Imanerd
for me, it only has Chromium. I will change my UA temporarily. edit: No, I've just tried that, and the cache cleared, even history, and no luck. can you please give a screenshot. edit2: OH, for Mac. Nevermind, that would explain it.
daiku
Yes, I wish I could install the DuckDuckGo app in Maxthon for Windows too, but it seems impossible. You can, however, add DDG to your search engines, and even make it the default search engine if you like. I did, and it works great.
Imanerd
I already do have it there, and has been for about a year or so, but thanks regardless. I, in fact, use a custom URL: https://www.duckduckgo.com/?q=%s&?kp=-1&kn=1&kad=en_US&kl=us-en&kf=w&kd=-1&kg=g&ks=m&kw=s&k2=-1&ko=1&k4=-1&ke=-1&kk=-1&kr=-1&kq=1&k1=-1&kv=
daiku
Interesting! What does the custom URL do?

One of the major things it does for me, is it uses WOT seals. But be sure to check the ratings, not just the seal.
