eka_ys
I've tried Spark Browser from baidu, they have a neat & user friendly downloader for videos. I think it will be nice if Maxthon can catch up with such video downloader.

7twenty
There is also Resource Sniffer. It will show all downloadable content on the page. You can then choose what you want to download.
eka_ys
yes, but the name of the video that I saved is usually "ptracking.flv" or "get_video.flv" & i don't really know the video quality.

eka_ys
Here's an example with maxthon See "Clipboard01.jpg" This is what happened when I am using baidu spark, i can download in mp3, 360p or 720p and i also know the size. It's very convinient See "Clipboard02.jpg" if maxhon can do similar things then it will be awesome, because maxthon handle memory better than baidu

7twenty
eka_ys replied at 2014-9-11 16:02 Here's an example with maxthon See "Clipboard01.jpg" I always figured that was a limitation of the way that YT streams the files... but it seems it's not, as you pointed out with spark and the fact that the Youtube Centre extension also works correctly. Looks like MX needs to work on the resource sniffer/downloader/popup as it only seems to offer (what looks like) the raw file streaming files rather than the entire file. Hopefully it can be fixed so that the MX download popup/sniffer can download the files in their correct & complete form.
