RobCr
Now that IE is unsafe in XP (no more updates, and being targeted by nasty people) Can Maxthon Cloud browser be used instead ? 1) Will it render web pages that were designed solely for IE ? 2) IF the MS IE engine has been exploited (say recently), will that exploit also exist in Maxthon Cloud Browser ? Thanks, Rob

BugSir007
Hi RobCr, Welcome to Maxthon forum. Actually Maxthon supports both the Trident( IE ) and the WebKit rendering engines. You can switch between two modes by clicking the "browsing mode" icon located on the right hand side of the address bar. You'll need to make the browsing mode icon appear on the address bar by selecting the "Switch browser core button" box-check in the Customize UI context menu. 9254
