@ Dong Dong. We had this problem wuth MX 4 and 5. Click on where it says "Customize Frequency [60s']" and change to the maximum number of "9's" possible i.e 9999999999999.

That's the problem with MX6. It's been in development for over a year and we still haven't got basic features from MX4 and 5. For me it's still for testing only.

Thanks for the script. I had other Adblock scripts but they stopped working as YT evolved. I don't know why a letter change in 'Maxthon' should enable the UA unless 'Maxthon' is being ignored. Perhaps this is regional. Edit: tried the script. It didn't work. Is it possible to update ViolentMonkey?

This is an updated thread replacing the previous ones that have been archived. MX 7 and 6 only function on Windows 7 or later. Chrome 110 and later only function on Windows 10 and 11. Earlier versions of Windows will remain on Chrome 109. Chrome 110 and up function in the UA for all versions of Windows. From MX 7.1.8.7000 (March 2024) it is possible to change the User Agent in MX 7 using the traditional internal UA modifier/selector in Settings/Advanced/ Experiments. You can also use extensions from the chrome store. I personally use https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/user-agent-switcher-and m/bhchdcejhohfmigjafbampogmaanbfkg (recommended). There are lots of others. The Qupzilla browser is now obsolete and is no longer being developed. From December 2022 I have in incorporated Edge and Opera as standard. These UAs break Youtube. Use standard Maxthon UA: just disable chosen UA extension in Extensions and reload tab. NOTE From version 7.1.8.9400 Live Chat seems to work correctly. With Windows 11 the system has changed to User Agent Client Hints (UA-CH). More information to follow as Browsers adapt to this new system. I still use MX 5. MX6 is missing far too many features at the moment.

@ Mr. SS Sorry the flag to turn on status bar doesn't appear until Chromium 90. I got confused with my browsers. The side panel flag doesn't seem to do anything.

Where is the sidebar extension mentioned in the Release Notes for 6.1.1.800 Beta. In mx://flags you can enable a sidebar and a status bar but nothing appears in the browser.

@ BugSir006 I tried to test this issue but haven't reproduced. Could you provide a video of this issue? Can't provide a video. It seems to work OK in x64 Portable but the x64 .exe version takes over an hour to open (Black screen etc). With Hardware Acceleration off it works fine. I have the same problem with Chrome (87).

I managed to add Google (international) but can't modify or delete the hong Kong version

Mx 6.1.1.700, 64 bit. Can't add Mx://flags or mx://components etc to favourites (this was working before). Can't use Hardware acceleration. Can't change Google search engine from Hong Kong version (You could change this before)
