winpc issue Twitch player popout

8 posts in this topic

Hello,  the popout feature is one of the reasons i use Maxthon and i like it, but somehow it doesn't work on twitch streams which i watch a lot, it didn't work on youtube as well in mx4 but in mx5 it works, the only problem now is that it doesn't work on twitch streams i remember when it used to work once, the popout button just doesn't appear on them.

i wonder if there is a fix for this, or if it can be fixed later..

Hi CP12, thanks for your feedback. Could you provide a link of the video site you refer to?

Is it this one: https://www.twitch.tv/  Seems to be a live stream platform?

hi, i'm sorry i wasn't able to check forums for a while,  and yes twitch is supposed to be a popular live streaming platform, the link is as you mentioned  https://www.twitch.tv/, this is for example a live stream https://www.twitch.tv/c9sneaky (if its live when you check it), or you can check live streams for different games https://www.twitch.tv/directory, i hope there will be a fix or if there is already one,  thanks in advance :)

You can try switching to Flash instead of html5 to get the popup but M5 should be able to popup the html5 player too....

Hi CP12,

Thanks for your reply.

You may have a check in your setting to see if this option been crossed.

I'll also let our testers to have a look into it to see what is the cause of this issue.

thanks for your replay, i had that checked but it doesn't show the popup when html5 option is on, but turning off HTML5 worked, so i ll use that for now, i hope it would work also with html5 on, not sure what its all about or if its just me, well i hope the testers figure it out, thanks for your help :)

Hi CP12, thanks for your understanding and sorry for the trouble caused for now. Our testers will try hard to find out why. Will let you know once it's resolved. :1f60a:

Happy browsing everyday!

Edit: Hi CP12, we've identified it as a bug and have assigned a developer to deal with it. :)
