So lately I noticed that there is a general problem with playing full-screen videos from essentially every website (YouTube, News sites, Rumble, etc.).
I get an error (different text for every site) but essentially it seems that when viewing the videos in full screen the buffering stops and once the buffer clears, the video stops and an error is issued.

    I haven't noticed if it's specifically HTML5 or flash.
When reloading the page/video it works and buffers fully as long as you don't go full screen.

I'm using (64bit), but I think this happened in previous versions as well.

Just watched over 30 minutes of full screen videos on both YouTube and Rumble and not one glitch, but on 64bit, on 34" monitor. Maybe try that latest version.

I have this question posted elsewhere, but I did not get a response, thought I would try again.

If I install the version for MX5, will this new install overwrite my previous version of MX5?

I noticed that when I checked the version number on "Help - About", it constantly tells me there is no new updates available.

Or, will I have 2 versions of MX5 installed on my laptop?

Yes, it will overwrite the previous version. You will not have 2 installations.

I have problems with youtube playback on MX6: on a gigabit internet connection Auto video quality goes down to 720p or 480p. Same videos, same computer, same account and setting, but on MX5 work fine on 1080p or higher if available.

Using MX at the moment, but notices the problem since a lower version (6.0.2 I think).

    Any ideas?

HMMM am playing a 4K video @2160 on 34" monitor without a problem on my 1Gig internet with multiple windows open.

Hello, I couldn't find this issue anywhere else so I'll ask it here:
MX5 had a simple yet very useful feature of clearing data (history, address bar, cache, etc.) on exit.
This feature really helps keeping everything clean and tidy - is it available on MX6 and if not, will it be?

    Image from MX5:

Similar but not the same. It's located in Settings/Advanced/Privacy and Security.

where they are other than in the mind of the marketing dept and developers is anybodies guess

They are in Spain, Turkey, Bangladesh, Korea, etc. with multiple applications from the same IP address and eventually will be spammers.  There are about 500 or so in the last couple of months from Spain and a lot have the same avatar and a lot with the same IP address.  Just because I don't do anything about them doesn't mean I'm not watching.

Perhaps you missed the update in settings adding font size oreference in MainMenu>settings>Advanced>Fonts.  It is in the Change Log.  I did recall that when I ran into extremely tiny fonts on ABC.com.  Clicking "Reset to Default" clears the problem and it has been permanent since then.

Ok, if I have never had a problem with fonts of any kind, why would I go looking for a setting to change something and create a problem?  As the old saying goes, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it"

    had the same happen.

it's due to the new font sizing feature they added.

Go to settings > Advanced, Web page display. For page font size, select Medium (even if it is already), and it should fix itself. Reset to default should fix it as well.

Must be some sites reading the setting differently initially or something.

Then why aren't more people having a problem with fonts?  I have always used the installed version, could it be the portable that is the problem?
