did you try to disable your extensions to see if any of them causes this ?
does it happen in guest mode too ?
finally if nothing above works, you may try a clean install.

if you use a passport, just uncheck the auto logging and passowrd features on start...
if you don't already use a passport, you should use one

On a somewhat related note, there seems to be some porn links in the suggestions - type in "you" and you'll get at least two. Now, it doesn't bother me, but if you have kids using Maxthon and they stumble across them - well it doesn't bode well for a family friendly browser does it?
definitely a good reason to give users the option to disable it.

yes, actually I encounter the same issue. Some videos don't load, either retro or ultra mode, adhunter on or off. The same videos play in IE
