About the terrible width, it looks like when there are long items of text the menu will adjust so the shortcuts cannot possibly overlap. I can see that the extra spacing is generous, but it makes sense when extensions want to show a lot of text.

You don't know html and css. This is not determined by the extension, but by the browser. And the parameter is called text-overflow. You also need to change the padding value of the rows so that the menu is not stretched in height.

These are elementary changes, but the dev's just ignore user requests. I've been saying that for a year now. In the 7.2 the menus were compact.

In Bulgarian, a very long text has been added to the Download window and the window looks very ugly and cannot be resized. Please fix this problem!

BugSir009, what about the font smoothing issue? How soon it will be fixed?

2 new errors:

Right click / save as pdf > DOES NOT WORK ANYMORE
appears white page with error code: STATUS BREAKPOINT (photo1)
In Download manager / New download > at the bottom of the window it shows Chinese letters, (photo2)
if I click on them it takes me to Settings / feature management > where everything is in Chinese language (photo3).

I think that it has been pointed out that the .pdf function does not work, but Printing, likewise, does not work when a printer uses that kind of Adobe formatting to drive the printer. I have an Epson ET-4850 and if I print to it within Maxthon, I get a "Snap" screen. So, there is a bug in the printing system too. The "Save as image" does work.

In the previous version I had no problem, it worked great, in this version printing and .pdf do not work.
The "Save as image" does work.

I just tested the previous portable version 7.3.1.6400 (64-bit) and both printing and .PDF work normally.

Getting system crashes and code-hung messages on this version. Avast flagged yt-dlp.exe as a virus but I whitelisted it since I knew it was part of the Maxthon update. Using full CPU and memory resources with dozens of processes.
