I've been playing around with the same the past few days. Amazing what you can learn from AdBlock :-P

Didn't get as far as you though. Nice work!

I think this adds to the supposition I posted elsewhere, that AdHunter is a more than capable blocker and can be as good as AdBlock/Fender and whatever others, it just needs a decent curated block list to work effectively. Unfortunately the standard MX block list isn't up to the task compared to one created by a dedicated community who's sole purpose is to block all the ads.

I found it works quite effectively even blocking the YouTube Center dev. version update banners that appear when the update is later than what I'm running. In this case, it may go too far, but I can live with turning AdHunter OFF to check for updates. For now, I'm leaving it ON which this set of rules in play.

ironically had a dream last night that the advertisements came back. thankfully it was just a dream. and again, no problem.

edit: how are people giving upwards of +5...I can only still give +1 per day....
