I think Tony is using an adblocker software, and I could try adfender as well. but I would prefer to have an adhunter rule than to use a third party software. Tony
a workaround Oliver - i dont see it as that - its doing what it says it will do - its a commercial program - not cheap either - ad blocker or rules - if they worked would be a workaround imo - it works across all browsers as you would expect an additional installed program to do maxthon specific stuff is just that - if things work great but change to another browser and its lost Tony - Vivaldi 4 on Windows 10 64Bit

John.Smith
Try AdFender. http://www.adfender.com It got some rules for Ad Blocker aware servers. (I mean how to handle servers who tries to detect whether the user is using an ad blocking software or not). it is a decent product. I am a long time user of AdFender and very happy about it.. P.S. There are quite a lot Ad Blocking software's available in the market. It is your choice what you needs to use.

7twenty
Makes it hard as you can't even get to dev tools to check out the code to see what the code is that calls it. The fact that other blockers do work means that it's obviously possible, you just need to know the correct bits to block.

I think it's more that Adfender/muncher are programs or addons of which there sole purpose is blocking ads. These dev's can work on making the filters almost perfect, while the Maxthon dev's are working on the browser as a whole, with AdHunter updated when possible. I'd love for AdHunter to be as good as a dedicated program, and I think i've said just that in the past, but in reality unless they have a staff member whose job is to update AdHunter constantly the best we can do is hope that people share rules like this when they popup.
