Maxthon PC 7.3.1.1601 beta

+ Added root directory option for Maxnote save directory selection.
* Updated multilingual translations.
- Fixed an issue where extensions could not be deleted.
- Fixed an issue where cookies could not be deleted.
- Fixed an issue where passwords could not be restored, causing them to disappear.
- Fixed an issue where bookmarks could not be restored, causing them to disappear.
- Fixed an issue with delayed loading of third-party skins.
- Fixed an issue where the startup page was not set as the settings page.
- Fixed an issue where some mouse gestures did not work.
- Fixed an issue where the video popup-window could not go full screen.
- Fixed known crashes.

Suddenly this morning I got this message, when trying to open the forums.

In recent versions 
the password generator window is funny
at first launch it is small and doesnt show any thing 
on the second try it shows everything but I have to scroll to use it 
very frustrating

Hi BugSir009,
It happened only 2-3 times, and then all is back to normal. As for other browsers I haven't tried. But as I said it stopped showing that as suddenly as it started. If it happens again, then I will try more options.

I definitely recommend and demand that there should be a 2FA authenticator security measure at the Login entry.

It is very important because I think this security measure should be taken in the new version,
because when you enter from here, auto-fill is activated🙋🏻‍♂️

The problem with opening links from other programs is still there, I have already reported it in previous versions (core Chrome/128.0). Interestingly, after logging in to the Maxthon account, the links are opened, they also work after logging out, but only until the browser is closed. After restarting Maxthon, the links do not open again and so on :(

Not that bad of an idea. But it must be optional and not mandatory.

I agree. I understand that 2FA can boost security for users who don't understand the importance of strong and unique passwords everywhere, but 2FA is an inconvenience for those who are doing passwords right, as they are supposed to be,

Hi Refix2, I have tried installing Thunderbird on my side and have no problem clicking on links and open the link immediately on Maxthon browser. Maybe you would like to double check on the settings and also your extensions?
