+ Added root directory option for Maxnote save directory selection.
* Updated multilingual translations.
- Fixed an issue where extensions could not be deleted.
- Fixed an issue where cookies could not be deleted.
- Fixed an issue where passwords could not be restored, causing them to disappear.
- Fixed an issue with delayed loading of third-party skins.
- Fixed an issue where the startup page was not set as the settings page.
- Fixed an issue where some mouse gestures did not work.
- Fixed an issue where the video popup-window could not go full screen.
- Fixed known crashes.

+ Added a new setting to exit the browser when closing the last new tab.
* Optimized post-installation directory size to 400MB.
- Fixed an issue where resource sniffer failed to download resources.
- Fixed an issue with pinned tab logic errors and gestures unable to unpin tabs.
- Fixed an issue where the video popup-window could not be dragged for split-screen and the keyboard arrow keys could not control video progress.
- Fixed an issue where video tool buttons were not displayed.
- Fixed an issue where the restored tab order was incorrect upon browser startup.
- Fixed an issue where the skin color did not follow the system theme changes.
- Fixed known crashes.

When Maxthon is open, links from other programs are not launched.
You cannot delete cookies for a selected site in the menu => settings...
Maxthon does not import passwords from a selected local account, an attempt
to import deletes the current password list
The above deficiencies were already in previous versions 7.3... and they are still

When closing a tab with 150+ tabs open, all the remaining tabs disappear for several seconds from the tabs area, then they come back.

Hi zork, this could be due to the issue in the UI for new chromium. This will be fixed in subsequent versions.

Zork, it was even better narrow menu without shortcuts. I think users must know already or memorize those shortcuts. But, it's just me. I'm alone in this. 🤭

Yes, I tried a clean install and the only thing I got was opening links from other programs in Maxthon.

Importing passwords deletes the current list but does not download a new one
Cookies for a selected site also cannot be deleted

After a clean install, links opened without a problem, but due to the loss of passwords after an unfortunate Maxthon error, I restored the passwords by copying the entire folder from my backup, but I lost the ability to reopen links from other programs.

Hi caligula73, yes. The development team is still fixing some bugs and subsequently the AI for win 7 will be updated.

Hello

I did upgrade the portable version to .1500 and notice this :

When you check the version it says that an update was applied and you need to click on restart.

If you do so, the browser seems to close down but maxthon processes stays for ever in the task manager. Of course you can't start Maxthon again unless you kill the processes

Hi Orlith, could you disable all extensions and also make sure you give full control for Maxthon under permission for account.

I can confirm. Auto update function crashes everyting.

It's not posiible to run maxthon aftter upgrade to 1500.

Restart doesn't help at all. 

Delete all files, download 1400, and UNCHECK updating beta verions.
