+ Added uuGPT AI search and chat. You can try it by clicking on the blank address bar, typing @uugpt in the address bar, or using the 'Search uuGPT' option in the webpage right-click menu.
* Optimized installation package size.
- Fixed an issue where folded tabs were not displayed.
- Fixed an issue where there was no sound for sign-in.
- Fixed an issue where canceling a screenshot caused abnormal zoom.
- Fixed known crashes.

The problem continues with Google accounts (gmail, google news etc.) disconnect for no reason, and with Maxthon open and open/close Maxthon.

Guest, Local account (it's same like my Maxthon and Windows account, it's continuance of previous version of Maxthon before alpha, so all settings are there) and my MX account (if I log in it, then it's like opening it for first time in new fresh Maxthon install).

This is confusing. I continue with Local account, but if I add new bookmarks, change settings etc. they won't be part of MX account. Is there an way to merge Local and MX account?

Always when I opened Maxthon it was automaticaly logged in my MX account without confirmation, because I decided so long time ago. These alpha versions added Local account, I think. Otherwise I never seen Local account, Only Guest and MX account.

Sure, not big deal. If I add bookmark, I log in temporarily on my MX account, I add that bookmark, then log out and back to Local account. 

Or, maybe, just saying maybe, if I reinstall latest 7.2 version then this new beta, maybe Local account will be gone and will be normal like always with MX account. Edit: nope, no success. I gues alpha versions weren't dedicated to me. 😋

Edit: and now my experiment ruined local account too. 😂 Many cookies and settings gone, so logged in and started from 0.

No crashed..... disconnects gmail without reason.

When you modify the favorites, they are not updated

as the favorite manager is correct :

I confirm this. Without deleting cookies, Gmail asks to log in every time I restart.

Me not only every restart but I constantly have gmail open in a tab and after a while it logs out and asks me to log in again with passwords. It continues to do so from the previous version. The strange thing is that it disconnects from gmail (mail.google.com) and google news (news.google.com), e.g. it never disconnects from youtube as well as other sites i am connected to..

2- In this new version, the search engine returns to default after setting it to Google ,i have no any extentions & clean cache.

Hi Xahi4475, you could choose to export the bookmarks and import the bookmarks to the MX account. As for settings, you can go into your account local folder, copy the file 'Preferences' and paste into MX account

Hi Refix2, this bug has been reported and will be fixed in future versions.

Hi saman_rm, the passkeeper address issue will be fixed in next version. As for the search engine issue, did you enable smart address bar?

Hi una00, have feedback to the team about this mouse gesture issue and they will look into it. As for HBO Max, the team might require more time to look into it due to licensing issue.

In this new core version, some old GUI issues remain.

- When more than 100 tabs are hidden, the number of tabs is not properly shown

- It still asks for confirmation to open more 1hen 18 tabs when mass opening. This should have an option - do not ask again and remember this setting

- While installing/updating Maxthon, it still forces an icon on the desktop. Some of us do not want icons on desktops.

Maxnote does not show any content, it shows my notes but not the content. There was a popup with 3 options but without any text or description.

Yes I faced the same issue untill I chose the folder I nees as most favourite
then I began to see the notes inside

You'll have to wait for them to fix this
But don't be optimistic
I dan't know how they schedule their issues for top priority or low

There is no reason to use any generic ad blocker besides Ublock Origin (and its Lite version)

Yes, Smart Address Bar is active with all its options.

Edit: I disabled everything in (Smart Address Bar) but the problem still persists.

What you mean? Long time I use this ad blocker or similar. It's good. Maxthon has no own ad blocker like Opera. And for Ublock Origin I read this: "This extension may soon no longer be supported because it doesn't follow best practices for Chrome extensions."

Oh, and now I see my Ad Blocker Plus works fine after restart. Time to time have problems since alpha builds.

Ublock Origin is regarded as the best blocker out there. There are two versions: Origin and Origin Lite. One is for Manifest V2, and the second is for Manifest V3. Maxthon is still on Manifest V2 (which is better).

OK, I just installed Lite version, since my ADP again have problems and I keep ADP in Edge. ADP has one very good thing "block element". Thanks.

Hi projektilski, the team will try to optimize the features by next version. I have also reported the bug in MaxNote to the team.

Writing @uugpt does not work for me unlike with @gemini. The uugpt.com website was very barebones; can you eleborate on which LLM you are providing? The website shows "Model Switching" and has a picture showing ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude but there doesn't seem to be an option for picking one. I assume it's currently GPT-4o? I appreciate that according to the ToS the chat logs aren't shared or stored remotely.

On another note, my tabs still get shuffled on every start. I have it to restore my previously opened ones when starting and the order seems to be random. I hope this can be fixed soon.
