Hello!
When I click Menu, Help, Maxthon Community, this highlights an issue I reported before... it shows the version with the last posts, so 7.2.2.5000...
I checked last night & this morning & didn't see there was a new version.
Maxthon 7.2.2.5000 says it's up-to-date, but then I see an email from Softpedia informing me of a new version of Maxthon!
The community page should ALWAYS show the current version & when checking for updates within Maxthon, it should ALWAYS at least let me know & prompt for update.

Hi Rackerkind, previously what version were you using? And do you experience this error in previous version or just in this latest 5200 version?

Hi Pjfaust, can I know which data is not sync for you? And is the syncing between PCs or from PC to mobile phone that is not working? Could you PM the screenshot as stated below to me and we will do a further check.

 

1、In Maxthon browser press combination of ' ctrl+shift+alt + k '
2、On the popup white screen, right click on mouse and select the last option ' Inspect '
3、Click on ' Console '
4、Press sync button in the browser menu
5、Screenshot the ' Console ' screen and send it to us

Hi Rackerkind, did you experience this same login error in previous version? Did you do a clean install for this new version or it override the previous version?

The syncing is not working between PCs, in mobile phone is OK.

I send you "Console" screenshots of the 2 PCs.

Hi grisp1, the developers will continue to look into this issue. In the meantime, could you close the browser and go to your user data folder and delete the file mjssync.dat

Once deletion is done, relaunch the browser and see if it helps for the syncing?

Hello, I am experiencing this problem at my workplace, I think the firewall is blocking it. Can you help me which addresses or IPs should be allowed for this?

Installed Version 7.2.2.5201 (64-bit) 1018 14:20 (had an email from Softpedia letting me known about the update, but isn't listed on the forum) & afterwards, it didn't auto-load, had to manually load it (doesn't normally do that after an update).
When the change log was displayed, momentarily, it was shown in Chinese then changed to English, however, it was basically the same change log as Version 7.2.2.5200

Hi MichaelC362, this is a push update from the backend. No major chances; just fixing of bugs thus no change log.

When I checked the Maxthon logs, I saw the addresses below and forwarded them to the IT department, they gave permission, but I still cannot log in at my workplace, I can log in at home.

Hello, log files are attached. As I said, I cannot log in when I use the internet at work, but I can log in when I connect my laptop to my mobile phone.

Hi Rackerkind, I have checked with the development team and it is best if you could ask your IT department to add Maxthon for domain trust. You could also try asking them to add this address https://login1.mxfast.com/v3/login
