Maxthon PC 7.2.2.4800

+ Added Passkeeper feature for exporting plaintext passwords in CSV format.
+ Added new synchronization module for syncing extensions.
* Optimized login and synchronization speed.
- Fixed an issue with excessive disk usage on startup.
- Fixed an issue with failing to retrieve weather data.
- Fixed an issue where BrightVPN could not be enabled under some circumstances.
- Fixed an issue where extension sync installation displayed the extension introduction page.

Why am I getting maxthon_7.2.2.4600_x64.exe instead of maxthon_7.2.2.4800_x64.exe?

The link shows as 4800 but the downloaded file is named 4600.

Well, just discovered that the file seems to be wrongly named. It downloads as 4600 but installs as 4800 (both the installer and the About Maxthon page concur that this is indeed version 4800)

If the team could confirm this is what is happening it would be great.

Перестали работать расширения  Proxy SwitchyOmega  и  Unblocker для YouTube . Откатился на  maxthon_7.2.2.4600_x64, заработали.

Why quick access page in incognito mode doesn't looks like in normal mode? I've hidden weather and "top bar" menu in QA settings but in incognito mode it shows those menus anyway.

Could you guys please update the "Release Notes" for the beta releases? It would be super helpful for beta testers like myself that simple cannot jump on every single update, but we still want to be in the loop. https://forum.maxthon.com/index.php?/release-notes6/

For testers like us, it'd be great to have a clear changelog. That way, we can focus our testing on the new features and bug fixes implemented in the skipped and the latest releases. The other way around is shifting through old forum threads to find everything is a real pain!

Hi petol55, I have tried adding these 2 extensions and it works well on my side. Perhaps you might want to disable other extensions and see if it helps?

Hi MichaelC362, current weather data will only be retrieved and shown. It will not link to accuweather website anymore.

Yes. After some actions it seems it works fine.

But another problem is https://web.telegram.org/k/ 

When it was locked and after MX restart the scrolling in the left window with list of chats doesn't work.

After page refresh the scrolling works fine.

But after next MX restart with this locked page the problem is coming back.

But when I switched to A version (https://web.telegram.org/a/) there is no problem with locked page.

I also have problem with some extension not working properly https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/steam-inventory-helper/cmeakgjggjdlcpncigglobpjbkabhmjl - If I select trading cards inside my Steam inventory, press go to sale and press quick sell it just doesn't work (not selling TC). MX version doesn't matter - not working at all of it.

Hi suphamster, this might be due to the chromium version. Kindly wait for chromium to be updated before you try again.

I can look out the window to see the current weather(!), so you either need to re-allow link access to AccuWeather's website or show more days at time (or option to show hourly for the next day)

Yes & no... I have 1000s of bookmarks, so don't have the bar displayed.
I could as it as a quick launch shortcut, but really, why should I when it's on the screen within Maxthon!?
If a feature is added to Maxthon, then it needs to be useful & showing the current weather, when I can see that out the window, is somewhat less then useful, unless there's the option to expand/extend the forecast.
Ideally, if they don't want to link to AccuWeather (or have been told not to!?) then just showing the next few days or hours (user selectable option) would be a good compromise.

Changing MX User Agent leads to problem with cloudflare sites, not changing UA leads to some sites not openning with "ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR", did anybody solved this problem without switching to another browser?

Agree 100%, but the Maxthon Dev team appears to be struggling, and so you may be waiting a long time to get what you want.

I have 2 UA's Maxthon standard and and different one in a UA spoofer extension. I use the spoofer one most of the time and just switch off the extension when required (Youtube for example).

Still the same with https://github.com/maxthon/Maxthon/releases/tag/7.2.2.5000 and now this extension https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/gismeteo/bfegaehidkkcfaikpaijcdahnpikhobf stopped working right after MX updating.

I tried Maxthon Portable right now 5.2.2.5000 without an account or any extension and it is the same. I have the same problem at home and work on different networks. At home, I'm testing NextDNS service and it is blocking validate.perfdrive.com sp the error from the picture. At work no filtering, then it goes to another verification page, and then to njuskalo.hr.

Edge, Chrome, and Firefox do not have that problem, not at home or at work on the same PCs. They go straight to result page.

I see using inspect on Firefox that it blocks validate.perfdrive.com yet it loads the page. Chrome does the same. Maxthon redirects if allowed, or stops if not.

Also, main page does load, but when searching for an article or accessing via direct link, then it does not work

Maybe old Cromium core is the issue?
