MWO
A few weeks ago I started receiving the message that access was denied to the Godaddy.com website. I performed a complete cleanup and the error still persists. I checked my hosts file and found no problems. I checked the DNS and tested with another DNS without success. I tested using Proton VPN and also without success using Maxthon. I have two independent networks that were also unsuccessful. The same thing happens using the LTE/4G network. I tested and access works normally using Chrome, Thorium, Opera and Edge on the same computer. Any tips on what is causing this error? Maxthon Version: Versão7.2.2.400064 bits0831 06:24 I was using the latest stable version of Maxthon and enabled the beta version, which was also unsuccessful. Access Denied You don't have permission to access "http://www.godaddy.com/" on this server. Kindly try again in the next release version. I have the same problem.... and other Browsers work fine. I think it has to do with Maxthon's Chromium version being SO OLD.... Maxthon, I have a solution to this constant problem and complaint from Users. Please use the "Base" Chromium code for most things and then change as necessary to Maxthon specific features. I've noticed when you guys originally went to Chromium you radically changed the Settings design and many other features and design aspects of Chromium. However, it was/is unnecessary to remove/change most aspects of Chromium. I don't see a "need" for that. Solution? Just change/add Maxthon specific features "as Necessary".... Rather than changing and removing everything with Chromium. This way we can have a "more updated" Chromium instead of it being "so complicated" for you to keep Maxthon updated with the latest Chromium code. A suggestion.... I still see there are problems with using such old chromium code, and I still see everyone's complaining about it.
Magdalene
I've tried GoDaddy.com It works fine try a different UA Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/130.0.0.0 Safari/537.36 or Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; Windows NT 10.0; WOW64; IA64; en) AppleWebKit/599.0+ Maxthon/7.2 Chrome/130.0.6723.59 Safari/537.36 OPR/114.5282.102 QupZilla/2.2.6 Edge/130.0.2849.
leeuniverse
I tried your old one posted in another thread someone complained about pages not working... But, it didn't work. So, I'll try this one. Quote Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; Windows NT 10.0; WOW64; IA64; en) AppleWebKit/599.0+ Maxthon/7.2 Chrome/128.0.6513.138 Safari/537.36 OPR/113.5230.86 QupZilla/2.2.6 Edge/128.0.2739.79 However, we should NOT be having to do this.... I remember this has been occurring for YEARS with Maxthon.

Though, unless they were working on MaxNote, I can now actually "Edit/Create" a MaxNote using BOTH of the above Strings, when before when I was testing the last few hours I could only "Title" a Note, I couldn't actually put in content. It works now however. Edited October 18 by leeuniverse
