Hello!
I see the weather applet still doesn't work... really, how long does it take to fix something that previously worked fine!?
It does now show the current location's overview (when clicking the down arrow), but clicking the main bit still doesn't goto AccuWeather's website for more details.

Hello!
Last few releases been unable to access Distrowatch...
Just get:
image.png.0f09e197f2dbd6d32bfb58642707a9c8.png

Works ok with other browsers (e.g. DuckDuckGo)

Are you using Maxthon UA?
Working well with
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/128.0.0.0 Safari/537.36

Distrowatch works with this UA as well

Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; Windows NT 10.0; WOW64; IA64; en) AppleWebKit/599.0+ Maxthon/7.2 Chrome/128.0.6513.120 Safari/537.36 OPR/113.5230.62 QupZilla/2.2.6 Edge/128.0.2739.67

That worked, thanks.
I don't usually want to change the UA as I need to know when it isn't going to be compatible for customers, but I'll update it from now on for me & change back to test when they report issues.

Errors are constantly being written to the debug.log file.
Delete all entries from the file and save. The file is empty. Launch and then close Maskton, this file already contains about 600 lines of error entries. And the number of entries is constantly increasing.
The entry looks something like this:

First line
[0912/223637.308:ERROR:chrome_exe_main_win.cc(413)] ReadProcessMemory failed: The ReadProcessMemory or WriteProcessMemory request was only partially completed. (0x12B)
All others
[0912/223936.961:ERROR:filesystem_win.cc(130)] GetFileAttributes C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Maxthon\Application\User Data\Crashpad\attachments\11ff1a7b-0092-4792-8340-2614933d1cab: The file specified cannot be found. (0x2)

The file is starting to grow.
I don't know which version this started with.

Hi alexzhus, could you send me a copy of the file? I will let the development team check on it.

I don't know which version this started with.

The first thing I found out was that most errors like this
"C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Maxthon\Application\User Data\Crashpad\attachments\11ff1a7b-0092-4792-8340-2614933d1cab: The file specified cannot be found. (0x2)"
comes from the fact that the link points out to the attachments directory not reports
it should be
"C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Maxthon\Application\User Data\Crashpad\reports\11ff1a7b-0092-4792-8340-2614933d1cab"
they reside in the reports directory while the debugger is trying to find them in the attachments directory which is not the correct one

they both dont really help us much and the passkeeper doesnt remember my user and password 😕

Hi elnoos, do you mean passkeeper doesn't save your username and password or it doesn't prompt in the login website?

With that UA www.njuskalo.hr shows this error.
When using Maxthon UA from the dropdown menu it works.

This is Distrowatch for me using this UA

Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; Windows NT 10.0; WOW64; IA64; en) AppleWebKit/599.0+ Maxthon/7.2 Chrome/128.0.6513.138 Safari/537.36 OPR/113.5230.86 QupZilla/2.2.6 Edge/128.0.2739.79

Changing the UA can break sites i.e Youtube see https://forum.maxthon.com/index.php?/topic/25261-mx-7-mx-6-mx-5-updated-user-agent/

it can also "Open"  impossible to access sites. The real problem is the outdated MX  core.
