Still silence from Maxthon on this: 

Now Google has said it intends to begin releasing Manifest v3 next week through its Chrome beta and dev channels. It's happening. Any update from Maxthon on plans for this?

I was also asking but there was no definitive answer. All important questions and issues remain unanswered for a long time. Maxthon is going in the wrong direction.
Devs should have some blog channel where they would give us info about what their plans are, how they are going, and some estimated dates for important features.
Now there is complete silence toward its users.
