TheWhippinpost Posted December 6, 2023 Author Report Posted December 6, 2023 It's been a week; the silence is deafening 🙉. Are we to assume there is no plan yet? Chrome is saying "we highly recommend completing migration to Manifest V3 before June 2024", so only 6-months to go.

They plan to support V2 but it is still not known for sure and they have to update Chromium first, which God knows when this will happen. I'm prepared to use Firefox as my primary browser.
TheWhippinpost Posted December 7, 2023 Author Report Posted December 7, 2023 OK, thanks. I wouldn't mind MX remaining on Manifest v2, personally, but the danger is websites/technology begin employing v3 features and MX slowly decays. Come on Maxthon, throw us a bone!
