+ Added  Maxthon Note upgrade dialog
* Improved search speed for Maxthon Notes
- Fixed the issue where ‘Web Indexing by Bright Data’ couldn’t obtain coins
- Fixed the problem with disordered installation path logic
- Fixed the issue where the note’s URL decoding failure caused the list to not load
- Fixed the issue of infinite coin-adding animation displayed on the new tab page

Good to see that updating to this version didn't open my locked tabs blank

Unfortunately

although Maxthon is set as default browser it broke opening links from thunderbird
This has almost gone from Maxthon

Now it's back
 

Edit:
I had to do the old fix to the issue
Which is to close all instances of maxthon

then make chrome the default browser
open the thunderbird link with chrome

reset maxthon as default browser

then it works

Hi Mhzayer, did you mean the browser crashed when opening links from thunderbird?

Thanks for new version. Can you add option to add or not to add pin Notes in Windows Taskbar? I don't want it in Taskbar. I have to delete it every time when I install new version. Thanks.

This was an old bug
Where installing Maxthon as default won't open links from thunderbird

I haven't seen it for many past versions 
But returned with this one

why do I need to use Ctrl+N, The default is to open my Quick Access, if not open my QA, the default search engine is my setting, I never use https://i.maxask.com/ as my MX setting.  

This is not from Chromium settings but from the Maxthon team configuration.

Your mention (use Ctrl+N) doesn't make sense. and the issue comes from 7.1.6.1400 to now. when MX team can fix this bug

What I understood by that phrase is:

In English what is the equivelent of I humbly sacrifice my life for you what I did was nothing compared to that

How can I open tabs with middle click without opening in forground tabs
Now whenever I click anything it opens in a new forground tab and swiched to it immediately

Hi Mhzayer, have you checked on your settings? Do make sure 'always open new foreground tab when clicking link' is unchecked.

I tried everything from clean install to disabling all extensions to no avail
I even tried the portable versions

Only maxthon_portable_7.1.6.1201_beta_x64
worked fine
All newer versions had the issue
