Cheri Posted February 2, 2023 Author Report Share Posted February 2, 2023 McAfee updated. I turned off McAfee while I did the uninstall and install, all worked. When I closed everything out and reopened it, the McAfee box came up and said it blocked a suspicious file which shows it's Maxthon. I'll try to install it again later on. Thanks! MichaelC362 Posted February 3, 2023 Report Share Posted February 3, 2023 Since John McAfee himself called it, "the worst software on the planet", it isn't doing a good job at protecting Windows anyway, so suggest remove it (can't just be uninstalled, need to get MCPR too) & install something better.
