New user, nice browser but doesn't play videos or audio

I'm trying this browser being I'm still using XP & it works good for most web browsing where I've been having trouble with other browsers, but when I try & view video or audio, nothing plays. So are there some codecs I need to get to add to this browser?

How are you getting MX6 to run on XP? It only runs on Windows 7 and above. MX5 still works on XP.
