It's just an example, many sites behave like this.

I guess all mentioned browsers are Chromium-based (including new MS Edge).

Also, I guess this could be solved in "Save image as..." command since the original picture is available for download.

Many sites with pictures, for example: https://www.the-sun.com/news/3739336/gabby-petito-appalachian-trail-brian-laundrie/

If you right-click a picture and select "Save as..." it's saved in .webp format.

But if you copy the image address and download, it's in original .jpg format w/o lossy conversion.

Hi ZorMi, I tried your link on other browsers and it was prompted to save as webp format as well. Alot of browsers will support webp format to compress all the images so to enhance user experience.

Hi.
Someone would be so kind to check if searching for https://www.mozilla.org at https://www.google.com.ar/ using Maxthon Version 6.1.2.3000 (64 bit) 0924 gives them an error?
Or if the error occurs also trying to view the web page https://www.mozilla.org?
Thank you!

Hi Luisoff, I have no problem accessing both the websites. Maybe you could try to disable all extensions and try again?

The compression is lossy, when zoomed-in there are more artifacts and blur. ? You cannot make a better picture by conversion, sometimes the file is not even smaller than original .jpg.

This is not enhancement but forcing (probably) Google's photo standard. But what can we do, except to click several times more to get a picture.

You can change the suffix to "jpg" manually ?

I used to reset zoom size to 100% by clicking ctrl + keypad 0
It no longer works
Just the ctrl + 0 on the numbers row works

Edit:
All the zoom increase and decrease size also don't work from the keypad

Hi Mhzayer, I guess you were using the numeric keypad, Ctrl+Num0/Num-/Num+

Numeric keypad: A calculator-style block of keys, usually at the right side of a keyboard, that can be used to enter numbers.

Hello, is there an "External Tool" shortcut, like in Maxthon 5 ?
Or do you have a close extension to this ?
Thanks !
Lalasse

Suggestion recorded. ?

Hi Luisoff, could you let me know the system information of your device? I tried to test this issue on my end but haven't reproduced it.

That is right. It used to work
so what happened?
Why is it not working now?
BTW: It works with all other browsers I tested on

Hi, thanks for your reply BugSir006!

I just realised that it seems to be an erratic issue, sometimes it's there, sometimes not.

Here's the info about my pc.

History still not fully imported from MX5 guest as reported multiple times.

Hi thereddevilrulez, could you compress the Maxthon 5 History file and send it to me? I will use it only in the test.

Sorry, in Maxthon 6, the default is "Ctrl+=", not the "Ctrl+Num+"?, that are different keys.

Hi S1v, I tried creating an account and login after that and I encountered the same error in MX6, Opera, Firefox and Microsoft Edge. Maybe you would like to contact Adobe and find out the cause of the error?
