Shortcomings of Maxthon Browser V6 download manager

 Share

Recommended Posts

Hello, I am using Maxthon Browser V6.1.2.2800.

But I would like to point out a shortcoming until this version.
1- The file disappears after the downloader is running.
However, it should always appear in the status bar.
2- If the download is interrupted for any reason, the download does not continue from where it left off.
This is the case even with sites that support resume. For example, on youtube.
3- There is no resume icon, only a restart button.
4- In the top menu, it is not seen what percentage the download manager has downloaded.
Every time we have to do CTRL+J and open the download manager.
5- All of these printers were in MX 5 and it was very convenient.
Thank you for bringing it to the attention of administrators.

Hi Toros, you could find the file in download manager.

1- When downloading a file
File downloader manager disappears. However, it should appear in the status bar.
We do CTRL+j every time.
2- If the file is interrupted while downloading, and especially
when the download is interrupted while using VPN, there is no button to start where it left off
and the file is uploaded again. This is a very bad thing. Because we're starting all over again.
Sorry for using google translate, I can't explain my problem.

Hi Toros, may I know the system information of your device?

BugSir006 Hello;

You asked me for system information.
I wrote it on the site, but it must have been overlooked.
I am rewriting below.
Let me remind you of my problem.
The download manager disappears while downloading the file, but when the icon is pressed.

The other issue is that the download manager does not continue from where it left off due to the interruption while downloading. Restarting. There is no continue button for this anyway.

Thanks a lot for your help.
