Hi Raniw, the development team is working on updating the chromium. They will try to get it updated as soon as possible.

Hi Raniw, the 9400 version has not been released officially. It is pending some fixing after testing was done at the backend. You could download and install the version later once it is officially published in the forum.

Windows 11, default browser - Maxthon portable. External links do not open if the browser is already running, you need to copy the link and paste it into the address bar. Needs to be fixed. Watch the video 1. 

Everything works in Maxthon 7.1.8.9001. Watch the video 2.

Hi Raniw, could you set Maxthon as default browser for all url links in your window settings? You may refer to the attached and key in 'https' and select Maxthon as default.

Hi BugSir009, look at my picture like this – Maxthon by default.
Problem - external links do not open if the browser is ALREADY RUNNING (applies to versions 7.1.8.9200, 7.1.8.9400, 7.1.8.9600, 7.1.8.9800 and 7.1.9.200)
If the browser is NOT OPEN, the links open. Watch the video.
P.S. I checked on a second computer - the same problem.
Versions prior to Maxthon 7.1.8.9200 work correctly.

Hi Raniw, I have forwarded all your videos to the development team for further check. High likely due to a bug somewhere. They will check further and fix it asap.

Nothing changes. The default browser is Portable 7.1.9.4000 beta, Windows 11: if the browser is NOT RUNNING, then when you click on an external link (from another application), Maxthon starts and opens the site, if the browser is ALREADY RUNNING, then when you click on the external link, nothing happens.
This is the sixth (7.1.8.9200 - 7.1.9.4000) beta version with this bug.
When will fix it?

PS: I Might have to look in a [2nd] mini PC that runs a combination of PIHOLE, Adguard &other DNS level blockers, to start blocking them on DNS level trough proxmox.

 

Already eying something like a minisforum UN100C [have one already running 1 with native home-assistant, and a adguard addon, which doesn't work perfectly but still helps slightly for mobile] {Sadly they are out of stock quite often due how small they are and how popular they are, with its size-performance/IO ratio}

The UN100C I currently have, is not suited for proxmox with everything running on it {Proxmox+HA+adguard+pihole+others}, since I already use 30% ram just for Home-assistant, and the USB passtrough isn't perfect, which does not help if you use a ZIGBEE coordinator for smarthome devices

Having 2 separate mini-pc's might be a better solution in my case.

 

If you are looking for a MINI-PC, any Intel N100 based PC is a good start, due its powerful CPU and low TDP [HA barely uses 9W total for me [with the CPU underclocked]]

I'm planning to reinstall Windows, I don't want to lose my saved passwords in Maxthon (in Passkeeper), is there a way to backup the passwords so I can restore them when I install Maxthon again? Without the Maxthon account (I'm not logged in, as I understand I'm using the guest account).

Maybe there's a file I can backup or the User Data folder or smth like that?
