Perplexer Posted April 7, 2018 Report Share Posted April 7, 2018 Yeah, same here. I've been getting this on and off for a while. I don't even have a desktop icon. I only have a quick launch icon (still on Windows 7). But even if I click "Repair Now" and get a new icon created by Maxthon, it will still start complaining a while later. rick.lane Posted April 7, 2018 Report Share Posted April 7, 2018 Try not repairing it and just click the "X" to close the pop-up. Since I generally have 2 or 3 versions installed (for testing) I have the desktop icon created for each install, but then I rename each one to indicate which version it represents. I too get the same pop-up (in my case I understand why) but do not want it to be "repaired" as that only brings it back to what it was before I renamed it; I simply click the close "X" and I don't see it again until the next install when I rename the icon again.
