DARKSTORM
Upload/Download Speed Indicator is not working again. This problem also appeared from the past Mx version but I can't find the recent topic There was an error notification shown then the indicator does not work anymore. Probably a broken file Tried "Fix It" from MxUninstaller - didn't work Clean Uninstall then reboot then Install - Doesn't work also
7twenty
is it detecting a network connection? Or there's nothing to select?
BugSir006
Hi DARKSTROM, could you tell us your version number? And is it 1, when you select upload/download speed indicator there's nothing happened and they even do not show on status bar? 2, or, the numbers always show zero? Vaguely recall there being a fix/workaround to get it working ages ago. But no idea off the top of my head.

The fact that it clearly does work for other users, means there's something going on with that system. Either it can't read something from where ever that data comes from, or there is something different that MX isn't aware of/able to deal with. @DARKSTORM What is your ethernet/wireless device? Look in Device Manager > network adapters And can you try using ethernet to see if it's related only to WiFi or all your network devices?

Network Adapters: Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller, TAP-Win32 V9 This Adapters are from a Windows 10 PC, Also has the indicator not working. The other one that has its indicator not working had an error before its indicator stopped working. Found my Old Post.

Quote Info display problem in Status Bar like upload speed etc, (not including CPU usage sorry). We confirm that the problem is caused by the empty content in the counter of HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Perflib\009 or 0804. For that the previous version before 3.3.7.800 uses another read way, they are not influenced by this key value. However, it may cause the icon lost in Side Bar. So, from 3.3.7.1000, we restore the read way of Maxthon 2 that reads the counter from the registry. Solution: We can solve this problem by regenerate the counter: Open a Command Prompt window(Win+R and enter "CMD" then click "Enter"). Input " cd \windows\system32 " the click "Enter" Input "lodctr /r" and click "Enter" Then wait for one moment, until it appears "Successfully rebuilt performance counter setting from system backup store". Restart the browser to see whether it works. Hopefully the same fix still works.
