observer Posted July 22, 2016 Report Share Posted July 22, 2016 Yesterday I've received a download link and installed a 5.0.0.2700 version. Mx5 accepted all my settings from Mx4 (v4.9.3.1000). And yesterday all were ok, but today were some issues with Maxthon servers (there were time-out errors during login and synchronization, both Mx4 & Mx5), and now I have an empty passkeeper. Yesterday there were all my Mx4 saved forms. Passkeeper doesn't have own "sync" button, synchronization from Infobox doesn't helps. Rerun, relogin don't help also. It makes Mx5 unusable. Mx4 still works fine. Are there any workarounds? Concerning Mx5 I have to notice the following: 1. 1) "Auto-login" checkbox at login window doesn't remember it's state. After rerun, it always is checked; 2) at the same time, "Auto-login" checkbox in Mx5 turns on "remember my password" checkbox in Mx4 login window; unchecking it in Mx4 does not affect its behaviour in Mx5; 3) changes in the start page settings influence on Mx4 settings, so a can conclude that Mx5 uses "Maxthon3" directory in AppData along with Mx4, not it's own one. 2. Is it possible to make a bookmark list at Infobox more compact? Every bookmark occupies a lot of space on height. 3. As it was stated in the other threads, Mx5 should have parameters for synchronization and clear data. Up to now I don't have any other serious issues but passkeeper (see above). Mx4 still works fine. Are there any workarounds? it seems there is an ongoing server issue.. sync does not work as intended, maybe this explains your issue with passkeeper ? Our product team has noticed that and is working on it. A manual sync button may be added in next version. Thank you all for your support and patience.
