[WinPC Resolved] Buttons on page are framed empty box?

Recommended Posts

I current use newest version 4.4.8.1000. I've cleared cookies and restart browser but it doesn't help!. Could it is because I have many portable versions on my PC though they are in different folders?

========

EDIT: I don't know what I did but today I see this problem is gone!

========

EDIT: Weird! It's come back again...orz

I find the problem. Maxthon can't display NCR markup for some Unicode characters correctly, they are displayed as empty box. You can create a text file, type in "👤", save it as test.html. Open this file in Maxthon. You'll see an empty box but it's actually a male icon. Both IE and Chrome display it correctly. I'm using Maxthon portable v4.4.8.1000. If only I have this problem, what could be wrong? :tap:. I can use some good suggestion.

Could it be because I'm running under Chinese Windows version?

I see the same with english windows, it does display correctly in retro mode. I'm using Mx4.9.0.2800, but I don't have problems with icons you mention here in the forum.

Yahoo mail had problems in version 4.8, it might have been related to User Agent. No problems with Yahoo mail using 4.9. regardless of UA.

I can confirm this problem here with v4.4.8.1000 and v4.9.0.2800, only an empty box is displayed instead of a correct icon.
