scottchu.tw
As my other post points out, I've experienced this problem on many urls. When I enter specific url, mouse cursor will become a frozen rotating circle icon and at this time I can't click anything not only in Maxthon but also every where in Windows. It will hang for a while and recover back to normal. This is one of those urls: Apache Solr Reference Guide - Apache Solr Reference Guide - Apache Software Foundation I find left pane is showing "loading..." , so maybe it has something to do with javascript codes. Can anyone see why? Note: I'm using Maxthon Cloud 4.4.8.

They all load menu in left pane quick. Only Maxthon will show "loading..." and hang for a while. I assume this might be a "bug" of Maxthon. joemax
I'm using M4.4.8.1000 and see absolutely no hang while loading the page and no "loading". I middle click the link and switch directly to the next tab and it is already loaded. AB+ enabled even...

Just because all other browsers you tested work, doesn't automatically mean Maxthon will also work. What that does show is that it's not a site related issue. As other users including myself have tested and found it to not be an issue with Maxthon, it once again points to a local issue. Without you doing some testing I don't think you will get any worthwhile response relating to your issue. I'm not saying that doing it will fix the issue or find the problem, but may help. I'll point you to this thread where the user did #1 in the list (after being asked by another user) and found the problem resolved itself. That user was lucky enough to get it resolved after just a few hours, you've been waiting 10days...

scottchu.tw
This problem still exists. Recently I go to tw.yahoo.com, this problem also happens there. I download a clean Maxthon portable verison and try it again, it still hangs. What could be the reason? I tried the troubleshooting steps but in vain. I still think it's a problem from Maxthon not my PC. The reason is very simple: Other browsers act well, only Maxthon has this hang problem (The old version Maxthon 1.x also have no this problem). Hope I can figure it out the reason one day...ORZ (Note: Will downaload 4.9.x version to have a try)
