moscreations
Hello, I am relatively new to Maxthon, and ever since I installed it (and I do love this browser) I keep getting this popup in my download manager (Internet Download Manager) that keeps asking to download something, here is the link I get every time: http://quickaccess-dl.maxthon.com/quickaccess_upload/template_frame/110/014D851F-7275-4B8B-A14E-124387FFEFC7.frame.dat?t=1447259019 Why am I getting this , it comes up every few hours, and I just keep on deleting it and it keeps coming back. I have no idea what to do with that, it's a zipped file which makes no sense to me. Can someone please tell me how I can stop this from happening. Thanks in advance

I have no idea what to do with that, it's a zipped file which makes no sense to me.I'm not sure, but it is very similar to the old bug: some download managers are trying to download QA when you run the browser. You can find more information on the old forum.Try to choose Maxthon Downloader in the main settings. 7twenty
It's an issue that has cropped up before, but was fixed as far as I can recall.Try adding quickaccess-dl.maxthon.com/quickaccess_upload to the exception list in IDM.
moscreations
7twenty I already have this listed in the exception, but it still keeps on popping up, very annoying. A.S. I checked out the old forum and did find the post about this, but there weren't any real solution given. This is very frustrating.

That's odd, I would have thought that should have worked. This post from the old forum seems to indicate that user resolved it that way when it was happening previously. While it is a Maxthon issue to some degree, I still think this needs to be looked at by IDM, after all the program is just doing what it's supposed to. But it doesn't happen with any other browsers, so IMO it would have to be a Maxthon issue for sure.

moscreations
A note from IDM this afternoon - and finally NO MORE POPUPS!!! You need to add the following line in the exceptions list: http://quickaccess-dl.maxthon.com/* The key was in the asterisk * that's all it took to make it work! Pass it on to anyone else who has that problem!

Really sorry, at the moment Maxthon does not offer an option to set a blank background for QA page. For the IDM problem, we are looking into it right now. Please stay tuned for the future versions. Thanks for your support! Hi bugsir, Its been more than one year and the IDM issue still exists and it is really really annoying Can the developers spare 5 mins to solve at least this ongoing issue? Please fix it since it is a very old issue Regards and thanks in advance

Your question was inside another thread (quick access). I split the initial thread and then merged the resulting ones. Unfortunately, as humans, we may miss some, the same way you may have missed the new one. would you have found the second thread (before I merged them), I'm sure you would have given us the link !
