Will Maxthon ever be recognized as a browser like IE or Chrome or Fifefox?

I find it really frustating when I go to some web-sites and it won't let me access it because I am not using one of those browsers.

Maxthon needs to do something to correct this problem

I don't know what it will take - maybe advertizing?

Could you give us links to these sites with you have problems?

Which Maxthon version do you use?

Do you use default Maxthons User Agent or custom one?

Did you try one of these custom UA's from this thread http://forum.maxthon.com/index.php?/topic/10453-updated-user-agent/?

Maxthon's biggest problem is that it's using an old blink core which is what causes most of the errors, user agent issues are less of an issue in most cases.

Regardless of that in answer to your question - probably never, but that should be less of an issue once the next versions come out. It's hard to get a new brand recognised unless it's something completely new, or does something that no other can do. MX while being a great browser, isn't unique enough to do either of those.
